The brief
A new coffee every three weeks meant a new bag every three weeks, each designed from scratch by a freelancer.
What we did
One bag, one colour, and a label system that sets tasting notes large enough to read from the queue.
We built a small label generator. The roaster types the notes, origin and roast date, and prints the label on site.
Café signage uses the same generator, so the menu board changes on the same day as the shelf.
Outcome
Releases no longer wait on design. Packaging costs per release dropped by roughly two thirds, and wholesale partners now stock the full range.
